Visual Arts News is the only magazine dedicated to contemporary visual art in Atlantic Canada. Although our focus is mainly Nova Scotian art and artists, we also consider Atlantic Canadian, national and international content that we believe would be of interest to our readership.
With each issue, Visual Arts News reaches a targeted group of well-educated, dedicated readers, including artists, collectors, gallery directors and curators across Canada. Visual Arts News is also enjoyed as a membership benefit for Visual Arts Nova Scotia (VANS), the provincial artists’ advocacy organization. Its members represent working artists, students, educators, critics, curators, collectors, galleries, corporate patrons and art appreciators who rely on Visual Arts News as a key source of art news.
