This exhibition celebrates the dazzling, sometimes disquieting artistic vision of Mary Pratt. Featuring a selection of works from the Owens’ permanent collection, it spotlights Transformations (1993-2002), a series of woodblock prints Pratt created in collaboration with Japanese Master Printer Masato Arikushi. This nine-year creative exchange, one of the most important of Pratt’s career, resulted in a breathtaking suite of carefully observed meditations on still life as an expression of the transitory nature of existence. This exhibition has been organized in memory of Mary Pratt (Class of ’57), who passed away in August 2018 at the age of 83.
