On Heritage Day this year, my husband and I visited Peter Gough in his lovely home in Liverpool, Nova Scotia. It seemed fitting to visit a great Canadian artist on a day celebrating Maud Lewis. We were in awe of what he calls his “expensive wallpaper”, dozens of his original high realism paintings covered every inch of the walls. A plan was hatched on the spot and we have been working together with Peter these past few months to put together an exhibition of these amazing paintings.  The work will be on display and for sale from July 5th to July 19th with an artist reception Saturday, July, 13th from 1 to 4 pm. -Cheryl Bell
